Tomás Luis de Victoria. Christmas Concert Concierto de Navidad

Tomás Luis de Victoria. Christmas Concert

Spanish Cultural Action (AC/E) and the Juan de Borbón Foundation are the co-producers of the Christmas Concert Cantica Beatae Virginis, which marks the end of the celebration of the 4th centenary of the death of Tomás Luis de Victoria (1548-1611), one of the most performed composers in the history of Spanish music.

The group La Capilla Real de Madrid, conducted by Óscar Gershensohn, will be performing the programme Cantica Beatae Virginis in all its magnificent Castilian mysticism, a masterful precursor to the Renaissance and the forthcoming world of 17th-century Baroque.

Church of San Juan de los Caballeros. The Museo Zuloaga (Segovia) is the venue for a Christmas concert on 22 December at 20:00 hours featuring the religious music of Tomás Luis de Victoria.
