Biblioteca Nacional de España: 300 years making history, organized by the BNE (Biblioteca Nacional de España/National Library of Spain) and Acción Cultural Española (AC/E) is the exhibition which opens the programme of events intended for the celebration of the Tercentenary of the country's longest-standing cultural institution.
The exhibition will present not only the history of the institution but also its significance over the years; the value of the heritage of its collections and the evolution of the tasks and processes, in direct connection with paper publications, which national libraries must fulfil as repositories of a nation's knowledge.
