Re-cognizing the Spanish Heritage in Europe

Re-cognizing the Spanish Heritage in Europe

The exhibition takes a tour of the Spanish cultural heritage recognized by the European Heritage Awards / Europa Nostra Awards from 1978 to the present, with Spain being the country that has received the most significant number of awards, 219 until 2023.

With this project, AC/E and Hispania Nostra (Europa Nostra's delegation in Spain) aims to disseminate Spanish cultural heritage in Europe, especially in countries linked to Europa Nostra. As well as highlighting the vital importance of heritage preservation as an indispensable part of the transmission of cultural legacy. To do this, the exhibition is presented in a versatile and sustainable museographic format, with clear and attractive panels allowing visitors to trace their route.

The exhibition is complemented by an audiovisual showing the Spanish cultural heritage, its importance and the trajectory of good practices in Spain, highlighting the work of Hispania Nostra and the recognition received from the Europa Nostra awards.
