Programming Europe. European Meeting of Music Festivals 2023

This European meeting of music festivals aims to bring together European and American programmers of all musical styles. Organized by Acción Cultural Española in collaboration with the Cultural Industries Foundation, during the celebration of BIME, and within the framework of the Cultural Programming of the Spanish Presidency of the Council of the European Union, it aims to be a professional meeting space in which to contrast the different models of musical programming.

The meeting brings together numerous programmers from various musical styles in an original exercise of coexistence between classical music, electronic music, opera, rock, zarzuela, jazz, pop, world music and indie. The main objective of all of them during the meeting is to reflect and take stock of the various aspects of the reality of the musical programming of EU music festivals such as musical program models, audience creation, financing, production or communication.
