PrimaveraPro is an international congress aimed at music industry professionals and is held in parallel to Primavera Sound, an international pacesetter for independent music. PrimaveraPro has consolidated its position as an ideal means of channelling the synergies between professionals from different areas of the music sector and provides an unbeatable opportunity for networking and learning all about the latest news from the music scene.
Through the Programme for the Internationalisation of Spanish Culture, AC/E is supporting the participation of international cultural planners Michael LoJudice (No Roads Entertainment), Shen Lihui (Modern Sky Entertainment), Nozomi Daikuhara (Nippon Television Music Corporation), Justin Sweeting (Clockenflap Festival), Philippe Siegenthaler (Absent Papa Events) and Archie Hamilton (Split Works).
The PrimaveraPro programme is scheduled for two different times of day:
DayPro Conference is a daytime centre of operations with a programme tailored to the interests of certified professionals and where lectures, workshops, showcases, meetings and receptions are held, among other activities. This activity programme spans three days, running from Wednesday 27 to Friday 29 May 2015 from 11am to 6pm.
NightPro, Primavera Sound’s area exclusively for professionals and the press, will open at the same time as the festival, running from Thursday 28 to Saturday 30 May. It is located by the Mediterranean in one of the most attractive parts of the Parc del Fòrum grounds and provides a relaxed meeting point for professionals.
Another feature of PrimaveraPro is the showcase stage featuring performances by emerging groups in order to make new artists known to record labels, planners and other organisations belonging to the sector.
