PrimaveraPro is an event aimed at professionals from the music industry and is held in parallel to Primavera Sound, an international pacesetter for independent music. As an opinion leader, the festival has made Barcelona a strategic point of cultural exchange between Europe, North America and the Latin American countries. PrimaveraPro is an ideal means of channelling synergies between professionals from different areas of the music sector and provides a matchless opportunity for networking and for learning about the latest novelties in the musical field.
Its programme is divided into two areas, which take place at different times of day:
DayPro Conference is a daytime centre of operations with a programme tailored to the interests of certified professionals and where lectures, workshops, showcases, meetings and receptions, among other activities, are hosted. The activity programme spans three days, from Wednesday 28 to Friday 30 May 2014, between from 11.00 and 17.00.
NightPro, Primavera Sound’s area designed exclusively for professionals and the press, will open at the same time as the festival, running from Thursday 29 to Saturday 31 May 2014. It is located beside the Mediterranean in one of the most attractive parts of the Parc del Fòrum grounds and will provide a relaxed meeting point for professionals.
AC/E is collaborating in this year’s event by supporting the participation of cultural planners Priya Dewan (Feedback Asia), Robb Harker (Supermodified Agency), Jason Mayall (London Office for Japanese Promoter Smash Corporation) amd Ilya Bortnuk (Light Music).
