Malaga Festival started out in 1998. Malaga Festival, which is currently in its nineteenth year, makes a major contribution to the development of films in Spanish by showcasing the best documentaries and shorts, as well as paying tribute to various prominent people from the film industry and organising many cycles, exhibitions and side events. Malaga Festival is aimed at all audiences and in its endeavour to present and foster a broad range of film culture, it pays attention to aspects such as training, creativity and innovation as part of its activities notable for their dynamic nature that is constantly developing and changing.
