The International Cervantes Festival (FIC) is the foremost cultural and artistic event in Latin America and one of the most important in the world.
For more than four decades it has been one of the liveliest forums for traditional and contemporary art.
This year’s edition features Spain as the guest country, which has been invited to celebrate the tribute to Cervantes on the fourth centenary of his death. It will showcase prominent expressions of theatre, music and dance related to the author and will provide many opportunities for reflecting on and discussing his oeuvre and its relevance today.
AC/E is collaborating by supporting the production of the ballet Don Quixote performed by the Compañía Nacional de Danza and the concerts by the Orquesta Nacional de España.
