'Correction'. Spanish Pavilion at the 59th Venice Art Biennale 2022

The artist Ignasi Aballí  (Barcelona, ​​1958) is the author of the 'Correction' project, curated by Beatriz Espejo, which represents Spain at the 59th International Art Exhibition that takes place from April 23 to November 27, 2022. 

The jury that selected Aballí's work from the other five proposals presented was made up, apart from Beatriz Espejo, by Katya García-Antón, director of the Office of Contemporary Art Norway Foundation; Javier Hontoria, director of the Patio Herreriano Museum; Peio Aguirre, art critic, independent curator and publisher; Beatriz Herráez, director of the Artium; in addition to the director of Cultural and Scientific Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation-AECID, Guzmán Palacios, and the director of Programming of Acción Cultural Española (AC/E), Isabel Izquierdo.
