Bologna Children's Book Fair is regarded as the most important European fair related to the industry of children’s books. A meeting point for publishers, writers, literary agents and even distributors and printers, it aims to foster all aspects of the publishing business, basically the purchase and sale of rights.
The fair dates back 50 years and, in addition to its commercial purpose, also features an extensive programme of activities (roundtables, lectures, debates, exhibitions) that average as many as 20 daily at the fair itself, as well as other parallel activities that are usually held in other parts of the city in connection with the fair (alternative exhibitions or launches in museums, libraries, etc.).
Inter Logos Srl. is an Italian publishing house that specialises in children’s literature and works with foreign creators, among them the illustrator Ana Juan. AC/E, through the second mobility programme of the PICE, is collaborating with the publishers Inter Logos by supporting the participation of Ana Juan at the fair, where she will be able to show her work and come into contact with the leading publishers of children’s books from all over the world.
