The Spanish artist, Martí Anson, participates in the exhibition to be held at De Nachtegaal in De Panne with its work Catalan Pavilion - Anonymous Architect. AC/ supports this initiative through the mobility aids.
In the early 60, the father of Martí Anson, Joaquim Anson began making wooden furniture in order to build affordable bringing together professionals from different areas and breaking the hierarchical system imposed by the dictatorship. Following this spirit decided a summer home for a low-cost family in La Garrotxa. He designed a house where bricks were used not only the structure but also as furniture to save space and materials.
In 2013 Martí Anson decided to rebuild the house of his father. The result was a wooden house that could be assembled and disassembled in a matter of days without professional help. Anson's house pays homage to all the anonymous builders that perform simple, functional and cheap buildings. This project was first presented in 2013 at the Palais de Tokyo in Paris and aims to celebrate the legacy of local experience in the same way they do the national pavilions at international exhibitions, expressing the ideas of a country through architecture. The summer house is also, therefore, a "Catalan Pavilion" and has a certain political tone by highlighting anonymous and cooperative work. The "flag" will be used as an information point at the entrance to the visitor center in De Panne De Nachtegaal.
