15 Spanish photographers capture the evolution of Spanish cities and their inhabitants in the last fifty years through sixty snapshots. Chema Conesa is the curator of an exhibition which brings together the work of established artists, such as Francesc Català-Roca, along with such young talents as Marta Soul.
The show takes us on a visual tour of a range of forms, styles and interests through which Spanish photographers have made their impression in representing cities. The photographers capture urban life through different images of architecture and people. The result is an "eclectic portrait" both of the city and of its evolution over the last century, along with the transformations which have taken place over the years in Spanish photography in terms of representing urban life.
The photographers featured in the exhibition are: Israel Ariño, Juan Manuel Ballester, Jordi Bernadó, Juan Manuel Castro Prieto, Francesc Català-Roca, Alberto García-Alix, Gonzalo Juanes, Fernando Manso, Ángel Marcos, Ramón Masats, Juan Millás, José Manuel Navia, Txema Salvans, Marta Soul, Miguel Trillo
