AC/E is collaborating in Porto Alegre Book Fair by supporting the participation of Spanish book professionals Elvira Navarro (writer), Javier Montes (writer, translator and art critic), Raúl Arias (illustrator) and Manel Loureiro (writer).
Porto Alegre Book Fair, whose beginnings date back to 1955, is the biggest outdoor book fair in Latin America and one of Brazil’s leading cultural events. The fair is characterised by its packed programme of activities that are open to all and free of charge and include meetings with authors and intellectuals, book launches, activities to encourage reading, art shows and exhibitions, among others, which attract 1,700,000 visitors on average.
