12 Festival de Cine de Todos los Santos 2015

Todos Santos Film Festival (FCTS) was founded in 2004 by Sylvia Perel, the director/founder of San Francisco Latino Film Festival (California), with a group of film enthusiasts from Todos Santos. The festival provides a selection of the best and most recent fiction, documentary and short films of Latin America and Spain, with an emphasis on Mexican and local cinema.

This twelfth edition of the festival pays tribute to Women and the Cinema and AC/E is collaborating by supporting the participation of Spanish filmmakers Beatriz Martínez Sanchís, María del Mar Coll Sansalvador, Ana Isabel Palacios Gil and Pilar Pérez Solano.

Women and the Cinema presents women directors who, in various ways, opened up new paths and disseminated new images in the world of cinema. It features a diverse and up-to-date programme on women’s role in society and their struggles, conflicts, achievements and successes with more than 120 proposals that reveal women’s original approach to reality.
