She is currently Director of the Institute of Art at the Academy of Art and Design in Basilea (Suiza).She had previously occupiedpositions as Chief Curator at El Museo del Barrio in Nueva Yorkand as Head of the CuratorialO ce at DOCUMENTA 13, in Kassel. Between 2008 and 2010she was Chief Curator at MACBA, Barcelona, and, from 2005 to 2008 she was Director of the Frankfurter Kunstverein, after previously serving as Artistic Director of the city of Bilbao’s Sala Rekalde. In 2015 she was co-curator of the Catalonian Pavilion at the Venice Biennale, together with the artist Albert Serra.EvA GonzáLEz SAnchoShe is an exhibition curator. She was director and curator both at the Frac Bourgogne (Fonds Régional d’Art Contemporain, Dijon, Francia) from 2003 to 2011 and at the Etablissement d’en face projects (Art Projects O ce, Bruselas, Bélgica), from 1998 to 2003. She was lecturer in the history of exhibitions at Metz University, 2001-2004. She formed part of the 2012-2013 curatorial team for the Lofoten International Art Festival (LIAF) 2013 in Norway.
