Targeted cultural productsThe case studyBy measuring the impact of an exhibition ina pilot, we can know the level of emotional activation it will produce before it is o cially launched, enabling us to channel exhibitions to an objective public. This focus can help with strategies from the mounting of the exhibition to the accompanying media campaign or associated workshops. The NarrativeThe accuracy of the measurements allows us to include an emotional story-telling element to exhibitions, creating a journey that is experien- ciable as opposed to historicist. We can nd out which pieces of art work better alone and which work better grouped, as well as which kind of information is relevant and which is redundant; which spaces have negative reper- cussions and which intensify emotion. The system visualizes the experiences and the hot spots, in much the same way as supermarket studies do, with a view to more e ective product placement. We are going to describe an example of a pilot experiment that was carried out using the exhibition Animals and Pharoahs, put on by La Caixa. It is a study related to the museum sector, in which Egyptian art was evaluated using an uncontrolled task in which the participant has no time restriction as he walks freely around the museum.Manufacturing capacityWe make our own software and hardwareThis allows us to make tailor-made applications to address particular issues and install cus- tom-made software that can be used as a daily work tool.AC/E DIGITAL CULTURE ANNUAL REPORT 201799
