Zarzuela Sessions 2016

Zarzuela Sessions 2016

Organised by the Fundación Jacinto y Inocencio Guerrero, these sessions, which continue with a project that was begun three years ago, will take place in Cuenca from 29 September to 2 October 2016.

The fourth edition of the sessions is entitled JACINTO GUERRERO. AMORES Y AMORÍOS (Jacinto Guerrero. Loves and love affairs) and will be devoted to the Toledo-born composer.

The sessions bring together the various agents involved in zarzuela (musicologists, scholars, musical and stage directors, actors, singers, producers, theatres, etc.). Lectures and roundtables will be held over a three-day period as well as exhibitions, a festival with concerts and other performances, and a fair for sector professionals that includes networking sessions with important international programmers whose participation is being supported by AC/E through the Visitors programme.
