SIESTA!are a band from Valencia who are due to present their “TERRORUTERINO” at the WIRDFESTIVAL at the Centro Cultural el Faro AC in San Luis Potosí in Mexico with the collaboration of AC/E. Their first album was released by Sonido Muchacho (Diego García, Terrier), Giradiscos (Lüger) and La Cúpula del Trueno Records, and was recorded at La Zona Temporalmente Autónoma in Torrijos, La Mancha, by Carlos Toronado. It is designed by Clara Iris. “TERRORUTERINO” came out on 25 March as a 12”, 180g vinyl and in digital platforms, along with a video clip of the band’s first single, After.

“TERRORUTERINO” has earned SIESTA! acclaim as one of the most highly appreciated bands of the past year, with a huge following; in just a year they have been on a joint tour with Dirty Beaches and have taken part in several festivals in Spain and Portugal (Primavera Als Bars, Milhoes de Festa, Keroxen, VillaManuela, Picnic Sessions…) and in compilations such as the Magazine Club (Valencia). However, the most important feature of the group has always been its songs, which are a mixture of punk, rock, electronic and psychedelic music and make it special and unclassifiable. All this comes across in its live performances, which are among the most spectacular and well-prepared in Spain.

WIRD is a platform for the dissemination of independent music. Its aim is to promote locally the music of young artists who experiment and innovate with pop, electronic and rock music.
