The group Ttukunak formed by Sara and Maika Gómez, two twin sisters from the Basque Country who play the txalaparta, an ancient communication instrument made of wood, iron or stone, offer a concert at the Spanish Pavilion on October 22 at 6 p.m. AC/E organizes this concert within the framework of Spain is Guest of Honor at the Frankfurt Book Fair.
Ttukunak has been touring stages around the world for 20 years. They have collaborated, among others, with John Zorn, Mariza, Ojos de Brujo, Radio Tarifa, Arto Tunçboyaciyan or Mártires del Compás.
