Trayectorias is the title of a cycle Acción Cultural Española (AC/E) is organising this year as part of the Hay Festival programme as a three-day tribute to Spanish creators and cultural managers who have travelled various paths that have helped give shape to their own production and, accordingly, our contemporary culture.
Writers, musicians, filmmakers and creators in general are taking part in Trayectorias, a cycle of talks in which artists from different disciplines tell of the many paths explored and the prominent role that various decisions have had in shaping their careers as creators.
The talks include discussions between journalists Javier Perianes and Jesús Ruiz Mantilla; filmmaker Rosa Bosch and Graham Sheffield, artistic director of the British Council; writer Antonio Muñoz Molina and English philosopher Anthony Clifford Grayling, founder of the New College of the Humanities in London; and Juan Mateos, an economist of the cultural industries, and Javier Celaya.
