The Bulgarian music agency Cantus Firmus AD, in collaboration with AC/E, is featuring the Spanish violinist Leticia Moreno in the cycle of concerts performed by the Classic FM Radio Orchestra of Sofia titled The Concertmasters. Created in 2002, this cycle of concerts features musicians with an international career and orchestra soloists.
Musicians of the stature of Vesko Pantaleev Eschkenazy (concertmaster of the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra of Amsterdam), Vasko Vasilev (concertmaster of the orchestra of the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden, London), Svetlín Rusev (concertmaster of the French National Radio Orchestra) and Mila Georgieva (concertmaster of Stuttgart Symphonic Radio Orchestra) have taken part in previous years’ events. Guests at this year’s cycle are Nigel Kennedy, Pinchas Zukerman, Shlomo Mintz, Stefan Milenkovich, Pepe Romero, Antonio Soria, Adolfo Gutiérrez Arenas and Anton Barachovsky, among others.
AC/E is collaborating in this year’s event through the mobility grants by supporting the participation of the violinist. These concerts are a showcase for the skills of the musicians featured, many of whom are leading instrumentalists from the finest orchestras in Europe.
