In 2018, 15 years of FCAT's existence are celebrated. For this occasion, the Festival aims to give full protagonism to the Spanish filmmakers of African origin and the connection with Africa and with the rest of the international cinematographic panorama.
The African Film Festival – FCAT is an independent film festival, organised by the non-profit NGO Al Tarab. It will hold its 15th edition in Tarifa from 27th April to Mai 5th 2018 and in Tangier from 26th April – 3rd May. FCAT promotes African cinematography in Spain and Latin America, thus contributing to a better mutual understanding as well as to the development of Culture and the film industries.
