Teatromanía is one of the most interesting theatre festivals of southern Poland. Its chief aim is to present the diversity of theatrical expression, sources of inspiration and very different methods of working. The festival is open to stylistic variety and seeks to present original projects that are critical of society and to question established principles at all levels.
Teatromanía is an annual event that takes place in the spring and has also featured foreign guests and shows since 2003. It is a unique opportunity to show the work performed by young international companies in this region of Poland, Silesia, in order to establish collaboration networks.
The general programme includes presentations – both indoor and outdoor – meetings with theatre and music companies, plays and workshops for young people and discussions of all kinds.
AC/E is collaborating with this year’s festival by supporting the participation of the Spanish companies Markeline with Andante..., Agrupación Señor Serrano with Una casa en Asia... and Compañía Manolo Alcántara with Rudo.
