Teatro inProssimità 2016

Teatro inProssimità reflects on concepts such as the insecurity of one’s own values and the idea of belonging to a territory. Its innovative programme includes 23 theatrical and music events and various projects combining both. The festival does not set out to present models of excellence to be imitated but rather to create an atmosphere conducive to collaboration and creation that encourages curiosity in new forms of artistic creation.

With the collaboration of AC/E, Nou Ensemble are presenting their programme Technics, in which the group explore the boundaries of the general concept of technology and its application to composition. Nou Ensemble are an instrumental group who perform contemporary music and endeavour to broaden the traditional concept of concert. They have premiered works by compositors such as José María Sánchez-Verdú, Íñigo Giner, Alberto Bernal, Abel Paúl and Joan Bagés, as well as the chamber opera Todos Caníbales by Fran MM Cabeza de Vaca.
