TANEC PRAHA (DANCE PRAGUE) was founded in 1989 as an international festival of contemporary dance and movement theatre. It takes place every year in June in Prague and in other regions of the Czech Republic. This festival invites outstanding artists from all over the world to perform: these artists are not just well known stars, but also progressive emerging artists. The mission of TANEC PRAHA is to inspire and develop Czech performers and to attract a wider audience for contemporary dance.
The 28th TANEC PRAHA Festival wishes to attract the attention of spectators by highlighting the specific part of the festival FOCUS SPAIN, the presentation of a series of ten performances in Prague, Pilsen and Jihlava with the support of AC/E by outstanding Spanish artists.
