Stapled. Art Books, Zines & Editions

"Stapled" is a week-long event held at Portikus, a contemporary art institution in Frankfurt am Main dedicated to exhibiting, publishing and discussing young and emerging as well as established artists and their work. This space serves as a platform, during the celebration of Spain as Guest of Honor at the Frankfurt Book Fair 2022, so that experimental art publishers from all over the world can meet and exchange ideas related to the publishing industry.

"Stapled" aims to build a bridge and offer a space from which to rethink how architecture can play a central role in the presentation of artists' books. With a special focus on creating a dialogue between Spanish and German creatives, for this edition a careful selection of artists, graphic designers and editors participate who will be able to present their work in an exhibition set specially commissioned for this occasion from the architects from the Barcelona studio MAIO.
