"Kintsugi: La estética de la imperfección" It is based on the Kintsugi, a Japanese technique for repairing objects dating back to the 15th century as well as a philosophy that claims that cracks and repairs are part of the history of an object and should not be hidden. It consists in enhancing the object, exposing its transformation and its past. Interested in new languages and the limits of movement, Iron Skulls Co. uses this piece to explore the relationship between technique, beauty and imperfection with dance. It was released on August 20, 2016, "Summer Stage Festival", New York, USA. Choreography and interpreters: Adrián Vega, Moisés "Moe", Héctor Plaza "Buba", Diego Garrido and Facundo Martín.
Iron Skulls Co., Based in Barcelona, it is a dance collective whose creation dates back to 2012, although it originated in the B-boying (Break-dance) group called Iron Skulls Crew, formed in 2005. Composed of dancers from various regions of Spain, is known for its distinctive style, which brings together several disciplines, always with the aim of promoting the influences incorporated in their productions. The members of this dance company come from various techniques, such as break-dance, hip-hop, contemporary dance and acrobatics, and are inspired by other disciplines, such as martial arts, music production, design and fashion. This eclectic mix of influences gives the group its distinctive style and interest in creative contributions from other disciplines, giving them a large number of ways to explore and the knowledge necessary to implement their increasingly ambitious productions.
