spaINchina Festival. Spanish Culture Month in Beijing 2016

sspaINchina is the first international festival of Spanish culture to be held in Beijing (China). It is organised by China Millennium Monument and the World Art Museum (Ch-Mi-Mo-Wo-Ar-Mu) and will take place from October to November 2016 at  Ch-Mi-Mo-Wo-Ar-Mu, an important institution responsible to the Ministry of Culture of the People’s Republic of China and the Municipal Government of Beijing.

The main purpose of the festival is to bring a varied, high-quality selection of the best of Spanish traditional and contemporary culture to the Chinese people. Various Spanish artists and cultural managers are cooperating on this initiative. It encompasses the 4th Photo Beijing festival, which features 3 showcases of young Spanish photographers; exhibition of masters of Spanish contemporary engraving; three flamenco shows; and a film cycle.

AC/E is supporting a flamenco activity at the festival involving three renowned Spanish flamenco groups. The three groups from Seville are those of José Acedo, Blanca Perdiguer, Rycardo Moreno and their respective members, which enjoy the support of the Instituto Andaluz de Flamenco. Each group will give two performances during the course of culture month.
