'The language that embraces us' will be the motto of Spain's program as Guest Country of Honor of the Panama Book Fair 2024. This was announced today by the ambassador of Spain in Panama, Guzmán Palacios, in the presentation of the agenda of activities prepared by the Ministry of Culture, with the collaboration of Acción Cultural Española (AC/E); the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation, through the Spanish Embassy in Panama; and the Federation of Editors' Guilds (FGEE). The event will take place from August 13 to 18 at the Atlapa Convention Center in Panama City.
Spain will have an official pavilion of 135 square meters, where visitors will be able to consult a complete overview of the Spanish edition, as well as the exhibition 'The best of the Golden Age' by the Spanish-Japanese comic author Ken Niimura, which has led to manga the most prominent characters of that literary era.
