Sounds Sublime Festival 2016

The spanish chamber choir Zenobia Scholars, formed of young spanish singers, will offer two concerts at the III Sounds Sublime Festival, organized by the prestigious british ensemble The Sixteen, conducted by the Maestro Harry Christophers, with the support of Acción Cultural Española.

The concerts will include pieces by two of the most renowned spanish composers of the Renaissance period: Victoria and Morales, coetaneous of Cervantes and Shakespeare, whose IV Centenary is celebrated this year. These spanish composers are very much appreciated also outside Spain and particularly very much performed by the main british ensembles specializing in Renaissance vocal music. The concerts will allow a foreign audience composed of british and international visitors of the venues to appreciate some of the most valuable spanish music of Cervantes time sung by a Spanish group in the Cervantes IV Centenary.
