Sismògraf 2015. Festival de dansa a Olot

Sismògraf – the festival that ‘detects movement’, as its name (seismograph in Catalan) implies – will occupy Olot’s town centre on April 24, 25 and 26. More than 20 dance companies will take the city by storm, offering a broad selection of activities in different formats and for a variety of tastes: from open-air routes for all audiences to more delicate pieces designed for smaller spaces, and including very spectacular productions performed at the Teatro Principal.

This year audiences will have to chance to view shows designed especially for the festival, as well as recently premiered pieces and more established shows. A whole weekend will be devoted to contemporary dance, which spills over into other areas such as the circus, audio-visual art and poetry. The total of thirty artistic and participatory pieces featured are designed to introduce audiences to dance and infuse the host town’s geography with a poetic dimension.

AC/E is collaborating by supporting the participation of international cultural planners Claudia Galhós, Anne Guiot, Monica Regini and Eleonora Bordonaro.
