SIFF 2019 Seattle International Film Festival

This is the 45th year of the celebration of Seattle International Film Festival SIFF, that runs from May 16 - June 9. In 2019, SIFF is screening roughly 400 international films at 10 different venues across the greater Seattle area. SIFF brings films and filmmakers to Seattle from all over the world, as they would likely not be able to come to the city otherwise. SIFF also prides itself on being an audience-focused festival and bringing the absolute best experience to film-goers and film industry guests.

AC/E is supporting the travelling expenses of the Spanish film-makers and actors Zaira Romero (Lead actress - CARMEN & LOLA), MIguel Ángel Lamata (director of FOOTBALLEST), Brígida Jiménez Herrera (Olive Oil Expert - VIRGIN & EXTRA, THE LAND OF OLIVE OIL), Carlota Pereda (director of PIGGY) and Paco Barce Orellama (director of THE SWIMMER) so that they can present their latest work at thish edition of the festival.

SIFF is the largest film festival in the USA. SIFF runs for 25 days, screens roughly 400 short and feature-length films from all over the world (representing 90+ countries), and draws audiences of over 140,000 people each year. In addition to films screening in Seattle, films also screen in the neighboring communities of Shoreline, Bellevue, and Kirkland. SIFF's overarching mission is "to create experiences that bring people together to discover extraordinary films from around the world."
