Sibu International Dance Festival 2016

Sibu International Dance Festival (SIDF) was first initiated and organized by the non-profit organization of Hornland Dance Theatre, Sibu. It launched its first debut festival in 2012 with the acknowledgement and support of the Sibu Municipal Council, Malaysia and the Tourism of Tourism Sarawak, Malaysia. It aims to hold as an annual event in the largest town in central zone of Sarawak, Sibu, which is located next to the Rejang River, the longest river in South-east Asia.

For SIDF 2016, we are anticipating 15 groups from 13 countries and regions which include German, Lithuania, India, Japan, China, Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Indonesia, Philippines, Singapore, Spain, and Malaysia to participate in this festival. Component of SIDF consists of dance seminar, workshop, outdoor performance, and main dance concert.
