Semana Negra de Gijón 2015

On Friday July 10 the Black Train arrives in Gijón and with it starts the 28th edition of the Semana Negra (Black Week) in the grounds of the former Gijon's  Naval Shipyard. A Hundred and a half authors from all over the world participate in this year's edition to talk about cinema and literature, but, as is standard, with a greater weight of Latin American .. Lorenzo Silva and Andreu Martin, the awarded with the  Príncipe de Asturias for Literature Antonio Muñoz Molina, and his wife, writer or artist Elvira Lindo or the comic drawer Milo Manara.

Musically highlight the actions of the Vargas Blues Band, Def with Two or Carlos Jean, who repeats after his success last year. 

This edition includes in its programming an exhibition dedicated to comic Edmond Baudoin and the usual appointment with the most stunning photographs through the exhibition of photojournalism to see the light at the hands of Javier Bauluz. In all, some 182 cultural activities of all types, complemented by fairs, markets, bars and restaurants. 

AC/ E's support to the festival, through the grants for Visitors,  has facilitate the participation of writers, journalists, critics and international publishers: Hortensia Campanella, Matías Castro, Gustavo Forero Quintero, Mario Punzo, Sergio Ramirez Mercado and Pablo Ignacio Taibo.
