The Seattle International Film Festival (SIFF) is the largest film festival in the United States. SIFF runs for 25 days, screens over 400 films, and has over 150,000 audience members every year. Film screenings are held across 11 venues in Seattle and its neighboring cities (Bellevue, Shoreline, Kirkland). SIFF's organizational mission is "to create experiences that bring people together to discover extraordinary films from around the world."

This is the 43rd year for the Seattle International Film Festival. This year, SIFF is set to run from May 18 - June 11, 2017. In 2017, the Festival will screen films and host events in eleven venues, and will screen more than 400 films from 90 different countries. In addition to the venues in Seattle, SIFF hosts screenings in Bellevue (from May 19 - June 1), Kirkland (from June 1 -4), and Shoreline (from May 26 - June 3). There will be more than 300 members of the film industry as guests.
