Directed by Curro Sánchez Varela (son of the late Paco de Lucía), this documentary began to be filmed three years ago on location in Madrid, Algeciras, Las Vegas and New York. It will be shown to the press and audiences in the Zabaltegi section of the 62nd San Sebastián Festival. ‘Paco de Lucía: la búsqueda’ takes a look at the different landscapes that progressively transform the brilliant Algeciras-born musician. It begins at his Mallorca residence, from which he departs on a new tour, guitar in hand. From this point it alternates between past and present. On the one hand, we witness his artistic and historical development and, on the other, we accompany him on different moments of his last tours.
