On July 25, 1918, Federico García Lorca signed in Fuente Vaqueros (Granada) his poem "Balada Ingenua" dedicated to the Apostle Santiago. It was the year of his debut as a writer with "Impressions and landscapes", a book in which he reflected the memories of his first stay in Compostela.
The guitarist and researcher Samuel Diz presents at Mostra Espanha his work on the recovery and interpretation of the music of the Generation of 27 ', which includes the album "Memoria de la melancolía" made with Lorca's original guitar. This CD, recorded at the Huerta de San Vicente House-Museum in Granada, with the participation of the tenor Jonatan Alvarado, is the reunion of Federico García Lorca with the composers Manuel de Falla and Gustavo Durán. Argentina, a pivotal country in one way or another in the lives of the three creators, was a host port for the Spanish generation that lived through the horrors of the Civil War. There, the composer Carlos Guastavino set these feelings and experiences to music, immortalized especially in the song "The paloma was wrong" with poetry by Rafael Alberti.
In the middle of this map, triangulated between Compostela, Granada and Buenos Aires, Jonatan Alvarado investigates the medieval codices and scrolls of the Tui Cathedral, gate of the Portuguese Way in Galicia, paying attention to the "Old Mass to San Telmo" of the Passionario Tudense.
