Sâlmon Festival 2016

Sâlmon Festival 2016

Sâlmon Festival, organised by Centro de Creación del Graners and Mercats de las Flors, presents contemporary performances related to body language and the language of movement with a far-reaching programming philosophy that includes exhibitions, talks on art, training, involvement in the local context, artists’ residencies, thought creation and theoretic reflection among others. It is held in the last month of the year and runs for two weeks.

The fifth edition will take place from 24 November to 4 December 2016 along the same curatorial lines. AC/E is collaborating on some of the scheduled activities by supporting the participation of international programmers and creators in several workshops and a meeting on creation for programmers that is centred on participatory management methodologies and tools and taught by the artistic director of Matadero – Boliva.
The festival is collaborating with Las Naves de Valencia, the Madrid Choreography Competition and Festival IN-TACTO of Vitoria in order to encourage mobility and synergies between programmers invited jointly.
