RIFF 2016, Rome Independent Film Festival

Rome Independent Film Festival (RIFF) is one of the most appreciated and stable festivals, both in Italy and internationally. Since several years, Riff is going for a very important project: show on the big screen independent works coming from all over the globe and providing to independent filmmakers a launching pad for their works.

Born from the passion for cinema and from the firm intention to give space to those works that are particularly difficult to spread, RIFF shows, most of the times as European or Italians premiers.
In this edition , the fifteenth , RIFF , aims to promote , as every year the Spanish cinematography; projecting over the works in competition (feature, documentary and short film) also a review entitled Cinefelia , in collaboration with the Cervantes Institute and AC/E. This cycle is the production of several Spanish works that have in common the active participation of its audience. The viewer participates at the construction of meaning of the four films presented.
