Elena Bajo. Residency at EKWC Sunday Morning 2021

The artist Elena Bajo, with her project “Plant manifesto” has been selected by the Sundaymorning @ ekwc jury to enjoy this residency at EKW (Oisterwijk, The Netherlands) between April 29 and July 21, 2021.

EKWC's residency programme is aimed at artists, designers and architects who want to train and explore ceramic production. Located in Oisterwijk, about 100 km from Amsterdam, this non-profit institution houses around 60 residents each year. The residence facilitates training in contemporary ceramics, as well as offering a space equipped with technical material and the advice of specialists for the development of projects proposed by residents.
About the Open Call

Criteria
An academic education and two years of independent professional work were required for admission to Sundaymorning@ekwc. 

Selection
The selection was based on documentation of the last five years’ work, a work plan and a motivation. 

The selected Spanish artist can enjoy 12 weeks (from April 29 to July 21) of Residence, including technical advice, study, accommodation in a single room, use of facilities, machinery and ovens (up to 2,000 euros cost) round trip flights from Spain and 2,500 euros + VAT destined to cover their expenses of maintenance, materials and production.
