Rencontres internationales du documentaire de Montréal 2019

AC/E supports the travel expenses of the Spanish delegation at One-on-One pitches, RIDM Forum. The One-on-One Pitches is full day of meetings between documentary producers, filmmakers, and decision-makers: broadcasters, distributors, sales agents, festival programmers, institutions, and funds representatives. It is a unique opportunity for creators and decision-makers alike to forge new partnerships and bring new projects to life. 84 decision-makers and experts from all around the world as well as Canada were present for the One-on-One Pitches in 2018.

A Non-profit organization founded in 1998 by a group of Quebec documentary filmmakers, the RIDM aims to present a selection of the year’s best documentaries. Early editions showed about 40 films over five days; today the festival has grown to have a schedule of more than 150 films along with retrospectives, debates, and parallel activities. Since 2004, it has also included a documentary market, Forum RIDM.
