Queer Lisboa 2019. 23 International Queer Film Festival

Queer Lisboa 2019. 23 International Queer Film Festival

Queer Lisboa is the sole Portuguese Film Festival dedicated exclusively to screen LGBT themed films, and movies dealing with subjects or aesthetics related to issues such as gender, identities or bodies, a genre known as Queer Cinema.

Queer Lisboa 23 will be held in Cinema São Jorge and Cinemateca Portuguesa, in Lisbon, between 20th and 28th September 2019. The festival comprises Competitive Sections (Best Feature Film, Best Documentary, Best 'Queer Art' Film, Best Short Film and Best European School Short Film), as well as non-competitive sections such as Panorama, Queer Pop, Queer Focus and the Opening and Closing Nights special screenings.

AC/E is covering the travel expenses, through the PICE Mobility grants, of the Spanish filmmaker invited to take part Armand Rovira with “Letters to Paul Morrissey”.
