Proyector 2016. International Videoart Festival

PROYECTOR is an international videoart festival that is designed as a showcase for the newest audiovisual expressions. 
The ninth edition is due to take place from 5 to 9 October 2016 with Madrid as the main host city and various events held throughout the year in other cities in Colombia, Spain, France, the Netherlands, Italy, Mexico, Peru and Portugal. Artists, curators and festival programmers from all over the world take part in Proyector, which features video installations (single-channel, multichannel, interactive), interventions, public screenings, performances, workshops, video dance, seminal artist and lectures. This year’s edition will be more intensive, lasting five days, and more focused on significant venues catering to larger audiences.

The ninth edition of Proyector has received 403 entries from artists of 26 countries, which will be shown in 14 venues totalling some 6,000 square metres in 8 countries.

AC/E is supporting the participation of sector professionals from other countries in order to give them the opportunity to view the work of Spanish creators.
