The fourth edition of the Literary Festival preTEXTY is being held in four Polish cities: Breslavia, Cracow, Warsaw and Poznan. The programme features the important Polish poets and prose writers Darek Foks, Jacek Bierut, Karol Maliszewski, Klara Nowakowska, Agnieszka Kłos and Andrzej Newiadomski, as well as a special guest, the Spanish poet Pablo García Casado, who is taking part with the support of AC/E through its Mobility programme. The sessions are divided into three sections: poetry, prose and meetings with Pablo Casado, where he will present his book Las afueras and read a few parts of it.
Pablo García Casado received the first Ojo Crítico prize for poetry awarded by RNE’s cultural programme for his first book of poems Las afueras, for which he was also shortlisted for the National Poetry Prize. He is one of the key names in the revitalisation of Spain’s poetry scene.
