The third edition of the AC / E Spanish Talent Award was presented at the last edition of NOTODO FILM FEST and its objective is to promote Spanish talent in the audiovisual sector and encourage creation. An award that is intended to be an incentive for young filmmakers and the opportunity to boost their careers. The Spanish authors finalists of the 2021 Edition (more than 120 short films) with short films presented unpublished were eligible for the award. Prize winners receive a financial incentive and a training course to develop their project.
Sara Bamba
She is a founding partner of the audiovisual production company Helsinki Films (www.helsinkifilms.com) and the post-production studio Elora (www.eloraposthouse.com), where she is an editor. He has directed, written and produced twelve short films and is currently developing his first feature film and his first series, Benalomar, selected at CIMA IMPULSA (with the support of Netflix and ICAA) and at the IPI LAB of Iberseries Platino Industrias. She has been a professor of directing at TAI and is currently the coordinator of the Advanced Filmmakers Program at ECAM. She has belonged to the Directed by Women Spain organization and is now a programmer at CIMA EN CORTO and CONOFEST. She is a partner of CIMA (where she is one of the delegates of the short film) and ALMA. The short film had an organic and very interesting process from the acting point of view. The actresses, Soledad Caltana and Laura Angulo, had already built their relationship, which had begun to take shape during the filming of Platypus. The girl, Julia Martín Bamba, is the daughter of the directors.
Ivan Martin
He has a diploma in Photography Direction at ECAM and is currently in the third year of the Art History Degree at UNED. He is a founding partner of Helsinki Films (www.helsinkifilms.com) and Elora (www.eloraposthouse.com), a post-production studio, which was nominated for Best VFX at the 2018 and 2019 Fugaz Awards and where he acts as coordinator. post-production and colorist. He is a director and scriptwriter of fiction and advertising and has directed and written short films that have been selected and awarded at numerous national and international festivals. He has been a cinematographer for documentary feature films, short films, documentaries, video clips, and in advertising. He has also been coordinator of the TAI Master's in Photography Direction and currently teaches at ECAM.
