AC/E supports in this fifth edition, within the framework of the Spain-Colombia Culture Focus, the guest artist-researcher Ignacio de Antonio, with the work "What we no longer see - This is no longer seen", an innovative proposal of choreographic research on censorship and its relation to bodies and things.
The fifth edition of the Festival revolves around the infinite possibilities of the unfinished, that is, the idea of expanding the notion of work, as the only product of artistic practice. The artists of this edition participate to unfold, dismantle, unveil, open their processes, go out on the street, inviting viewers to feel affection, discover new artistic and existential movements, and a few days of intense vitality.
Pliegues y despliegues was born in 2013 as an initiative of a small group of artists, whose creative projects were not fitted in the traditional platforms for performing arts. With the aim to consolidate in Colombia and Latin America a place of enunciation and debate on creative dislocated dynamics, without precise location and of liminal character. These artists work at the task of spin networks with other creators who come to the interdisciplinary as the possibility of creation and research, even as way of being in the world.
