Play-Doc 2016, Festival Internacional de Documentales de Tui

Play-Doc 2016, Festival Internacional de Documentales de Tui

Located in the historical town of Tui, in southern Galicia, Play-Doc started out in 2005 as an independent project that has succeeded in establishing a festival model that combines a small but thorough programme with a huge following. Its founders’ aims were to bring audiences a different type of film that is otherwise difficult to see and to create a space for dialogue and exchange.

For this new edition which runs from 13 to 17 April 2016, Play-Doc is once again offering a careful selection of the latest trends in non-fiction worldwide and the highlights of Spanish production, together with a major retrospective, live music and interesting training activities. It also features a seminar on critique and programming, through which Play-Doc is continuing its necessary and interesting talks that bring together audiences, films and critics. Prominent national and foreign critics, filmmakers and programmers will thus meet again at Tui together with promising young names and an exceptionally huge and varied audience to celebrate all together a new, vibrant edition of this small but great festival.
