Located in the historical town of Tui, in southern Galicia, Play-Doc started out in 2005 as an independent project that has succeeded in establishing a festival model that combines a small but thorough programme with a huge following. Its founders’ aims were to bring audiences a different type of film that is otherwise difficult to see and to create a space for dialogue and exchange.
