The documentary Pedro Salinas explores the life and oeuvre of the writer from his birth in Madrid to his death in Boston and his burial in San Juan, Puerto Rico, the place where he wrote and delivered the lecture Defensa y aprecio del lenguaje (Defence and appreciation of language), which gave rise to the legendary book El defensor.
During its 30-minute duration the film, shot in black and white, features contributions by prominent people: specialists in his work and/or witnesses of certain moments in his life.
The documentary will be premiered on the occasion of the VII Congreso de la Lengua Española (7th Spanish language congress) to be held in Puerto Rico in March 2016
