Patricia Guerrero’s “Catedral” at tanzhaus nrw Düsseldorf

This new coproduction of Patricia Guerrero’s flamenco company, Endirecto FT S.L. and tanzhaus nrw presents the stage as a spiritual space for dancers Maise Márquez, Ana Agraz, Mónica Iglesias and Patricia herself. The quartet, accompanied by three singers and two musicians, creates a hypnotic universe as a backdrop to the delicate interaction between dance and music. For this piece, Patricia Guerrero has collaborated for the first time with three singers, one of them the countertenor Daniel Pérez. The guitarist Juan Requena and the percussionists Agustín Diassera and David "Chupete" complete the live experience. Following its successful premiere performance at the renowned Flamenco Biennial in Seville, “Catedral” is being presented in Germany for the first time.
